Water and electricity in the same backyard is the situation the Canadian Electrical Code is most particular about, and rightly so. Section 68 exists because people have been killed by badly bonded pools.
The visible part of the job is a disconnect box on a post. The part that actually keeps your family safe is the bonding grid and GFCI protection underneath it.

We verify your service can carry it and file the ESA notification.

Feeder run, bonding grid installed, disconnect mounted, GFCI tested.

Inspection and certificate
ESA signs it off and you get the Certificate of Acceptance.
